Google Stadia Success For 4000 Game Developers

Latest news - explain Google has presented a new game streaming service called Stadia, which seems to have caught the attention of several developers. According to Technical Account Manager Sam Corcoran, more than 4,000 game developers have shown their interest in supporting Google Stadia services through the Stadia partner program.

According to eunoiamedia, “We have had over 4,000 companies apply for access to Stadia and every single one of them is reviewed by humans,” but he also encourages developers to put some thought into their apps as “someone is reading.”

This may indicate that not all apps may have asked for the opportunity to work on Stadia but it does indicate that there is tremendous interest in Google's new game streaming platform.

Some developers will want to see Stadia demonstrated on a much larger scale before they commit to developing something for the platform. Additionally, Google has also confirmed, that even if the game publisher decides to no longer support Stadia, the titles they previously offered will continue to be available to Google Stadia subscribers.

EMA provides some suggestions for developers looking to apply for access to Stadia. “What I really recommend and what has always been well-received – is having some good thoughts on the access that Stadia provides, allowing people to play on all of these different endpoints and hopefully expanding the range of players who can be involved. with your game” says Corcoran.
